Paperback Writer

I'm terribly sorry for neglecting the blog for a whole week, I was too busy with stuff for school! Only a week till summervacation! I can almost smell the scent of freedom haha..

The lovely Robine ♥ tagged me:
The idea is that you write 20 facts about yourself that people don't really need to know. Useless-facts. So here it goes:

- I'm going to make a list of things I want to do this summer.
- I'm terribly excited for the new Harry Potter movie.
- I'm reading the book for the second time. I enjoy it as much as the first time.
- I REALLY need new shoes. At the moment I only wear my pair of all stars and black flats. The problem is that I hardly see any nice shoes in the (online)shops, and that aren't too expensive...
- I don't like 'cycle shorts'.
- 28 days left until my birthday.
- In 34 for days I'm going to see Regina Spektor.
- I bought 'Wreck this journal' about a year ago but it's still lying untouched in my bookcase.
- I'm going to buy a red moleskine notebook for the next schoolyear.
- I can't come up with more things about myself but I'll do my best.:p
- I like floorlength skirts and dresses.
- I don't get why so many people like 'The Hills' and 'The City'.
- I have to admit though, that I love Gossip Girl.
- I want to go to a movie by myself. I think that's an exciting idea. Maybe something for my 'what-I-want-to-do-this-summer-list'.
- Or go see a movie at midnight.
- I think it would be really cool to challenge myself. Read 50 books in a year, like Mandy does. Or come up with 101 goals and try to fulfill them in 1001 days. I love the things Milou came up with.
- I love the Lord of the Rings movies. I want to hold a marathon(again) this summer.
- I'm a really lazy person.
- I like to dream about things, but I have to start realizing them.
- I can't survive schooldays without my ipod.
- This list took me a long time to finish.
If you want to do this tag too, consider yourself as tagged by me!

You may say that I'm a dreamer, but I'm not the only one

John Lennon - Imagine
(not the best video quality)

I'm really fascinated by John Lennon en Yoko Ono. John Lennon is my hero. I wish he was still alive.

John about Yoko:

Interviewer: Why can’t you be alone without Yoko?
John Lennon: But I can be alone without Yoko, but I just have no wish to be. There’s no reason on earth why I should be alone without Yoko. There’s nothing more important than our relationship, nothing. And we dig being together all the time. Both of us could survive apart but what for? I’m not going to sacrifice love, real love for any whore or any friend or any business, because in the end you’re alone at night and neither of us want to be. And you can’t fill a bed with groupies. It doesn’t work. I don’t want to be a swinger. I’ve been through it all and nothing works better than to have someone you love hold you.

Yoko about John:

December 8, 2007

I miss you, John. 27 years later, I still wish I could turn back the clock to the Summer of 1980. I remember everything - sharing our morning coffee, walking in the park together on a beautiful day, and seeing your hand stretched to mine - holding it, reassuring me that I shouldn't worry about anything because our life was good.I had no idea that life was about to teach me the toughest lesson of all. I learned the intense pain of losing a loved one suddenly, without warning, and without having the time for a final hug and the chance to say, "I love you," for the last time. The pain and shock of that sudden loss is with me every moment of every day. When I touched John's side of our bed on the night of December 8th, 1980, I realized that it was still warm. That moment has haunted me for the past 27 years - and will stay with me forever.Even harder for me is watching what was taken away from our beautiful boy, Sean.He lives in silent anger over not having his Dad, whom he loved so much, around to share his life with. I know we are not alone. Our pain is one shared by many other families who are suffering as the victims of senseless violence. This pain has to stop.Let's not waste the lives of those we have lost. Let's, together, make the world a place of love and joy and not a place of fear and anger. This day of John's passing has become more and more important for so many people around the world as the day to remember his message of Peace and Love and to do what each of us can to work on healing this planet we cherish. Let's: Think Peace, Act Peace, and Spread Peace. John worked for it all his life. He said, "there's no problem, only solutions." Remember, we are all together. We can do it, we must. I love you!

I think my blog doesn't always has to be about fashion or something like that. I hope you don't mind.

Sorry for not blogging as much as I'd like to. The weather has been so lovely the past days that's why I didn't really feel like blogging.

Saturday I received an email from Stacey Mark! I was overwhelmed after reading it haha. She said that she loved it and thought it was really inspiring. Isn't that extreeeemly cool?! Ah, I still can't believe it! 8) Thanks again Stacey!

I'd also like to thank all the bloggers who gave me an award!♥♥
The wondeful Jess( you shouldn't definitely visit her blog if you haven't yet) gave me this sweet award:

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

I'd like to give this award to two beautiful girls Mila from Loveology and Jami of Senseless Acts of Beauty.

Laura from See Hear Say and Robine gave me this award:

How this award works:

1. accept the award, post it on your blog together with the name of the person who has granted the award, and his or her blog link.

2. pass the award to 15 other blogs that you’ve newly discovered. remember to contact the bloggers to let them know they have been chosen for this award.

I won't give this award to 15 bloggers, simply because I can't come up with 15 names right now haha.

I'd like to give this award back to Laura because I discovered her lovely blog after that she gave me this award.

I also want to give this award to:
Boubou from
Boubou Teatime, Jules from Sincerely, Jules, La Garçonne Noir, Irene from The feminine mystique, Lola-Elise and I need a guide.

Boy Boy

Lissy Trullie - Boy Boy

I love the song and the video.
Jen Brill and Chloë Sevigny also appear in the video!

Sorry for the almost wordless posts everytime. I guess I don't really feel like writing. I usually can't find the right words to express myself. I think a lot but I don't always know how to express those thoughts.. And I don't have much stuff to tell you, since my life isn't that interesting. In fact it's kind of boring. But luckily, a month till summervacation.

Actually, today I do have some exciting things to tell you!

- It's almost my birthday(in 55 days to be correctly)!
- I'm going to see Regina Spektor in July(4 days after my birthday)!!!!!!!!!
- Don't think I told you this either, but in September I'm going to Coldplay!

I think that was all..

PS. Did you already see Angels & Demons? I'm reading the book right now, I can't wait to see the movie!
